How to login into EPFO as an employee

The EPFO login process as an employee is straightforward to do. First, head to the EDFO website and follow the instruction.

1. First, visit the official EPFO Website. 
2. Then ‘ in services’, look for employees. 
3. A new page will open. 
4. Under the services option, Click on the “online ECR”.
5. You will be redirected to the member user interface page. 
6. There enter your UAN number and password to login. 
7. Click on sign in. 
8. On the next page, you will see employee EPFO portal page. 

How to login into EPFO as an employer

1. First head to the official website. 
2. There under services, click ‘For employers’.
3. Click on “Online ECR/ Challan Submission / OTCP”. 
4. Enter the UAN and password. 
5. Click on ‘sign in’. 
6. Now you could see every detail such as KYC details, PF Amount and other things.

How to check EPFO member balance? 

If you want to check the EPFO member balance, follow the steps.  

• First, visit the EPFO official website. 
• Go to ‘Our services’. There choose for employees. 
• It will redirect to Member e-SEWA page. 
• The e-sewa offers various services. Choose their Member Passbook Service. Once you click on it, it will again redirect you. On the login page, enter UAN and password credentials. 
• Choose the Member ID to see the passbook. 
• The EPFO passbook will be shown infront of you. 

How to check EPFO member balance offline? 

• Suppose you do not want to use the online facilities to check the balance. You could always use the SMS service. The steps are straightforward to do it. You have to message to 7738299899, and the message should be EPFOHO UAN ENG. 
• UAN means the UAN number and ENG means the English language. 
• Make sure to SMS from the registered EPFO mobile number. 
• You could also use the missed call service to retrieve the member balance information. Give a missed call on this number 011-22901406 from your registered number.
